Full payment of the invoice has to be executed and received at the TopsAuctions bank account within four days of the end of the auction. Later payment will be in breach of our Terms and Conditions, and an interest for late payment is applicable and will be charged to the buyer.

Items should be removed within 14 days of the end of the auction. Later removal will be in breach of our Terms and Conditions, and storage fees are applicable and will be charged to the buyer.

VAT will always be charged to your invoice. By using our recommended transport companies and after approval of our accounts department, a zero rated invoice could be issued. By using other transport companies or your own transport, charged VAT will be returned after receipt of the correct documents and approval of our accounts department.

What is an Online Auction?

Online auctions are the most honest and transparent method of selling and buying. There are no owner bids, no manipulation & the whole process is being tracked and archived.
Online Auctions are extended Auctions where equipment is available for longer periods of time, up to 4 weeks, before the Auction Closes. This allows more time to potential buyers to ask questions & gather more information about the specific items they are interested in, getting pre shipping quotes and have inspections arranged. All done before their first bid (if requested).
TopsAuctions is an exclusively online Internet Auction. Only Bids placed on the internet are accepted. The Online system is developed as a platform to transfer assets, from Seller to Buyer, in the fastest, most efficient way possible. Less travel and accommodation expenses, one way transport, independent inspection reports, makes TopsAuctions a very costs efficient way of selling and buying.
TopsAuctions website is highly user friendly, as it has been built by people who have a vast world wide experience in auctions, physical and virtual. We have been listening very carefully, to customers remarks, demands and experiences. Clear and honest descriptions, higher numbers of pictures, details about location, inspections details, will allow the potential bidder to make that confident bid.
Each item will be placed in a specific on-line auction, and will be up for that specific auction, with its own closing date and time, presented on our website. TopsAuctions presents pre-bid status, potential buyers can place pre bid and auto bids, at closing day, bidders will compete in a real-life bidding environment, with other bidders, items will be up for bidding in sequenced slots of 6 items.
Items in a TopsAuctions on-line sale could have a reserved price; the item will only be sold when it meets its reserved price. This will be clearly displayed on our website, when unreserved; the item will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the last price bid.
Fees to both Buyers and Sellers are thought to be the lowest in the Online Auctions market. There are no complex, multiple nor are hidden charges and fees calculated as a straight percentage of the equipment price. All Buyers are reminded of a fair Buyers Premium and shown the exact amount before confirming each Bid that they make. Sellers will be offered a very competitive commission, depending on the package, and determent between seller and TopsAuctions, in a personal meeting.
