You can place an auto bid on an item, which means, you bid more then the next increment, f.e. the next bid is €10,000.00, but you want buy for €12,000.00, you put in €12,000.00 as an auto bid, and the increment is €500.00, so the next asking bid will be €10,500.00. This can go up to €12,000.00, or when the reserve is lower, and no bidding activity anymore; you could be a winner at €11,500.00.

Yes, you cannot bid lower than the asking price, and increment, you can only bid that amount or higher.

If that happens a competitor has put in an auto bid, and the computer executes your next bid, this could also happen, when 2 bidders or more put in an auto bid.

The computer will take their bids in sequence of the bidding moment; the first bidder is the highest bidder.

When a bid is placed within less than 3 minutes before closing, the bidding will be extended with 3 minutes; this can go on until there is no more bidding activity.

Yes you can, the only difference is, that during the "pre-bid status" your bids will not be published on our website, when we change to "auction day" highest bids will be published on our website.

We do sell both, some items are reserved, and some are unreserved, it is clearly marked. Note: when reserved, the reserved price is hidden, and will not be disclosed.

Yes, we advise you to inspect the items prior to bidding, please contact our office for the exact address details, which will be revealed after you having "bidder status"

You will be able to see this in your bidding overview. If your bid is green, your bid is the highest bid. If your bid is red, you are out bid by a competitor, when in orange, indicates the reserve price is met. So, you are the winning bidder if your bid is green and the ´reserve price met´ indication is orange.

Shortly after the auction you´ll receive your invoice; the invoice needs to be paid within 5 days after the auction.

The removal date will be announced in the Auction Details, you can use our recommended logistic partners, or at your own discretion. Please note; transport and removal is buyers responsibility. Later removal than announced removal date could mean storage fees being charged.

Shortly after the auction you will receive a "preliminary statement of account", or per fax or email. After TopsAuctions received all the proceeds on our bank account your will receive a final Statement of Account.

As soon as TopsAuctions receives the proceeds from the buyer, they will be transferred, less seller fees to your given bank account. TopsAuctions will not execute any cash payments!
